I can really appreciate that image - since I spent five (yes, five!) hours last night trying to capture this comet.

I started at Capella and worked my way towards it, taking images and checking the field using astrometry as I went. I covered images all over the area and didn't see a jot.

Ah what you need is EQMOD with comet data added to Stellarium. I slewed straight to it :)

Yes, until the comet orbit changes a tad..the accuracy I need is within 5 arcmins as that's the FOV of Faulkes, so using Calsky or the MPEC coordinates usually does the trick
