KELLING: sketches of the Veil Nebula

At Kelling I sketched the Eastern and Western sides of the Veil Nebula.

28mm Uwan and O111 filter was used.

Lovely job there Mick, They are such mesmerising sight these ghostly shapes from that long ago explosion.

I saw them visually for the first time at Kelling in Lintons 20" Obsession. A few other object too, but the E. & W. Veils just blew me away. The OIII filter just enhanced them so well.

Your 16" obviously reveals them well too.

Those are wonderful Mick. Some terrific detail you've captured there. I have not seen it as detailed as that before. Must have been awesome at Kelling
