M52 and the Bubble

Got this one a couple of nights ago, it was a bit of an after thought, i just wanted to test out my OAG ive cobbled together......it works!

exposure times were 40mins in each H-alpha and Red, 53mins in Blue and 28mins in Green

Very nice indeed, Peter, a little red but then you also have lovely saturated star colours to compensate - I like it!

Good stuff. Its often a compromise to take two objects together but they are both great. You can see the background nubulosity extending for most of the frame too.

many thanks everyone, Les i got hold of an old celestron OAG from steve which i took apart and fitted to the adaptor/spacer for the AG it works a treat and it sits infront of the filters so i get lots of guide stars

What I really like is the nice combination of colour and Ha, with no obvious change to the natural colour in the the picture.
