I've manage to get few avis through holes in the clouds. Weather isn't good, but still, something got caught

Super set of images.

Were your images taken around 1.30am? I was out at that time observing and sketching Jup in my 16". The feature positions you show match what I saw.

It's interesting to compare though - the darker reddish spot and bar you've got in the northern component of the NEB appeared really quite prominent visually without filter. They were much darker features than the promontory that rose into the EZ near the CM, which in your images is really very dark.

Just goes to show how eyes and imaging equipment interpret things differently. Really quite fascinating stuff

The wavelets make the color-contrast much much stronger than it could normally appear. It's good for getting faint details in white clouds etc.
