got only 2nd attempt at Jupiter in about 4-5 weeks

also managed to get more than one avi this time

used my Baader Neodymium filter for 1st time on Jupiter aswell 2nd Pic

not sure on these 1st results using extra Neodymium filter, mainly because of time difference,

it was much lighter sky when capturing, also Neo filter seems to produce ringing artifact

altho on plus side colours appeared more natural and image is slightly larger

captured using astrocapture @10fps

stacked registax 5, colour sharpen Gimp 2

click on pic for 100% size and more info

Nice detail again James! Could the ringing affect be caused by the lighter sky? I know when I last imaged back in June when the sky was very light there was a ringing affect?

Have you tried Registax 5.1? I found the RGB balance produced better results.
