Hello from Biggin Hill -Southeast

Hi everyone.

I rediscovered astronomy about 8 months ago when I wanted to show my oldest toddler the moon and planets so I bought an Explorer 130 newt. Aperture fever soon took hold after my first glimpse of Jupiter's moons. I've found SGL to be a very informative and friendly forum and I've already benefitted from the wisdom on it. For example, fitting good quality castors onto the base of a dob turns out to be an inspired idea.

Welcome from not too far down the road in East Grinstead.

I put lockable castors on the bottom of my dob - makes an enormous difference when there gaps in trees to take advantage of.
