Hi all, its about time i said hello after spending the past couple of weeks browsing this fab forum. Initally I was looking for info and tips on buying a scope as I am about to star-gaze again after many years. Anyways, I decided to buy skywatchers popular 150 PL.

I have just order it tonight from First Light Optics. What a great price for the scope and mount and I also bought a moon filter and an extra eyepeice. All these together came to the same price some sites are just selling the scope + mount for, so I`m well chuffed.

So sitting here now eagerly waiting for Mr. postman to bring the goodies..

Nice little starter pack you have there - and it sounds like a great deal. You won't be dissapointed with that scope - I started with one and regretted selling it even though I now have bigger/better set ups.
