Was a bit late setting up tonight. due to a meal at the pub:rolleyes:

Still I managed a couple of avi's before it turned bad:)

Nothing too fantastic as I am still experimenting with colour and camera settings. This shot is a bit overdone in PP but I'm too tired to do it again just now:( I want to get up early for Mars :D:) )

8", f6, Newtonian. 2x Barlow, ToUcam 840K, Registax V5, GIMP.

Unfortunately Jupiter is finished for me this time :hello2:

I tried last night and it was behind a large tree before the sky was dark enough to begin :(:(

Undetered I swung around to the moon and my mount broke (RA drive has stripped a cog I think) :) In any case I think I will be lucky to get it fixed before Mars is on the way out again.

So it looks like a holiday for me :):(:mad::D

You did well to get anything on Jupiter at the moment. I had a look when I imaged Neptune a few days ago and it was a jelly.
Clayton cheats - he lives in Australia :)

We'll get our revenge when it comes to him trying to get images of Mars though.... :hello2:

Sorry to take the wind ot of your sails, but any images of Mars, even Rubbish ones, will be better than mine.:):D Until I can afford a new mount :):(

Anyway I would love to see you guy's producing more images of Mar's :hello2:
