I'm back.....

After a week of phonecalls to various technical support people at Wanadoo (Now Orange)) and BT I have got my internet back...

Orange said it was a BT fault and BT said it was an Orange fault. After several irrate calls to BT and Orange supervisors...

I fixed it myself!!

I counted about 20 - 30 phonecalls over the last week and all I got was "Have you tried this and do that"...

Yes...utterly useless...

To be fair it was a BT engineer who told me what to do...(Off the record!!) After I told him about my electronics background..

But I havn't touched anything in the black box on the telephone pole on the end of my drive honest :D
