thank you all very much for the warm welcome... i would like to tell you all a little bit about myself...

my name is steve im 33 from Herefordshire in the UK... although i have been interested in astronomy since i was very young, i have only recently purchased a scope, just a small cheap one to start with.. i want to see how i get on with it before i spend money on a good one. saying that i am very suprised to see what i have seen already.. Jupiter and Saturn look fantastic, i also think it is fun looking for the more challanging objects, i have found some, but not many as yet.. the best thing i have seen so far was when Venus made a transit of the sun a few years back, that was amazing.. thank you all once again for your very warm welcome.. :)
