Lack of a 'plume' even made it onto the local radio news tonight! Damp squib by all accounts. Shame. Bet there are some disappointed astronomers State side and not just at NASA!

Even though it lacked the visual Impact, they seem pleased with the data returned, so perhaps not the big let down we think.

I reckon the impactor went straight down an Alien mine shaft

Actually, I though perhaps it had stepped in a Puddle, deeper than the one Doctor Foster stepped in, and perhaps emerged on the other side of the moon. They need to launch another orbiter to check out my theory.
