Finnished moon mosaic

I've been plugging away at this all week.

71 frame mosaic

best 400 odd frames from each 1500 frame avi.

Eyepiece projection with a skywatcher 10mm ep and 250PX through a red filter and DMK21 @ 30 tps.

Big overlaps and each run across the moon was drifting up into the previous run, so i should have been able to get to the bottom of the moon in 80 AVi's if I had taken more risks.

Very pleased with the result but it's been a slog processing it.

Great result Mike, I really like big mosaics and appreciate the work that goes into them. There must have been a good few days work processing and stitching that lot together, well done

That's a lovely image.

I really like the vast smooth areas peppered with tiny well defined craters.

Beautifull, I like it very much!

I have a plan to make small free program like google moon (only for visible side). So I'll need quality images. If you want you could be a member of a team to send images and we will program and make it look beater! In some close time I wont have a free time but later if you would like... All forum can be a team if make an deal, like a small forum's project !
