Owl Cluster NGC457 and NGC436

It was clear last night at 10.00pm but I could see that it was very likely to cloud over. With this in mind I decided to go for a cluster and image it until my next target the Iris nebula had passed the meridian. It was a good job I did get the cluster first as I had just finished framing the Iris when the clouds rolled in for the night :(.

I have not seen the Owl Cluster visually but it must be a real treat to the eyeball, I will have to take a look at it through the dob.

Exposure 28 x 5mins
