Wow what a night! 1st light through the new Meade and I wanted to pack in as much as possible did a load of visual in between I took the odd image to try things out. All images are 25 minutes only because I wanted to do so much in the short time I had available.

Here's the 1st, M31 ISO800 with 1000D 5 off 5 minute exposures, darks but no flats yet

I think this is the best M13 Ive ever done. I like this scope:D

Thanks guys, I'm pleased with this one particularly due to the crispness of the stars shown by the propeller coming through, I never sharpen my images so what you see is what I got.

That's a nice M13 Philj, you've struck that balance between outer detail and core burnout, very well done indeed. You'll be keeping the new scope then?

Steve..

Yup definately:D:D

Thanks for the kind comments all. I had a play with the colours and saturation to bring out more detail and truer colour. I think this version looks a bit better

Hope you like it

Wow, what a sharp, sharp, sharp image! I knew those scopes were good performers, from Olly and Peter's images, but this proves beyond a doubt how good the optics are. Awesome detail.

Daniel

Thats what struck me about the eyepiece views as well Daniel, very sharp.
