Typical. Clouds for weeks and then the night everyone starts imaging clouds it goes clear up here!

One of my favourite sights, the moon through a layer of cirrocumulus.

Sometimes, even a cloudy night at the telescope beats what's on TV. The Moon did eventually treat me to the occasional spectacular view!

May aswell post these here, although there was actually some clear sky tonight. Moon looked great behind the thin clouds, it actually made the craters easier to see with the naked eye.

I have imaged these many times and have in fact named them the Pita Nebula. They can exhibit great structure and colour and can be captured easily with any telescope/camera combination - preferably short exposure and no guiding.
