Saturn yesterday am

Not the best seeing, captured yesterday about 00.15 am with a 180 Mak. Best 6000 frames from 19000 captured. I've added last year's best image I managed to show the ring tilt difference.

Nice image and comparison of the tilt Chris. I haven't managed a decent colour capture this year yet.

As kostas refers to getting a colour image of saturn is very difficult. Especially in poor conditions.You have done well. Nice comparison too.

Great images, Chris! You can def see the tilt difference. By March 2025, the rings will resemble a line cutting across the planet 🤩

Thank you for your kind comments. If only the UK weather would improve and give us a run of warm evenings with excellent plus seeing while Saturn andJupiter are still at their best! This year must be one of the worst I can remember in more than 50 years observing.
