Hello all.  After playing around with a couple of cheap reflectors (76lcm and a power seeker 1000. Please don't judge me) I have bought an immaculate skywatcher 150pl on an eq2-3 mount.  Needless to say I've seen nothing but clouds in the sky's over Kent since.  Looking forward to learning more and having a bit of a laugh.

Already had fun with the new scope. Cleaning the mirrors and the collimating it. Laser first, then cap and finally using the Cheshire.

Eventually I want to upgrade the focuser and get a motor kit for the mount.  Hopefully the missus won't notice.

Good luck with that one. Welcome to the site, will the enhancements be for improved observing or future imaging?

Probably a bit of both.  The scope came with a camera ring / T piece as well but not sure what make of camera it fits too.
