Skywatcher AZ-GTI Mount Firmware Update - Loss of power

I attempted to update my Skywatcher AZ-GTi mount with the right arm update for EQ mode. I used Motor Controller 1.80 and used the following Firmware: AZGTi Mount, Right Arm, AZ/EQ Dual Mode, Version 3.40

The updater said that the installation was successfully installed and to recycle the power. I shut down the mount and when I switched the power back on it didn't respond. No light, nothing.

I've tried reboot mode but I haven't had any luck.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Might be worth posting in the azgti owners thread. Have you allowed time removing the power completely before switching it back on? You shouldn't have to as mine updated as you'd expect.

I'm trying that now, I'll let it sit with no power while I'm at work.

This has just happened to me.

I flashed the firmware which failed and then when I went to try and fix that the mount will no longer power up - no red light using either a power cell or mains lead.

Did you fix it?
