SGPro Issues?

Is anyone else experiencing real issue with SGPro.  The SGP website appears to have crashed and my version of SGPro is telling me my computer is not licensed when it is 🙄

Just managed to access the SGP Forum.  It says they are having issues with their website, including licensing and registration, and that starting SGPro with the computer connected to the Internet can cause the programme to default to trial mode.  Mine has clearly done that 😔

I got cheesed off with SGP V4 due to guiding and plate solve issues and I’ve now switched to AstroArt 8 which I’ve found more stable (not faultless) especially plate solving and guiding.

I don't mind admitting I am massively biased but give NINA a go, if you've not tried it you may well be surprised. It's very accomplished and any help you need, if you do try it, shout up 🙂

I'm a long time just of SGP trying to wean myself off it and onto NINA, this year I will make the move.  It's unbelievable the pace that NINA is being developed, it's a truly amazing piece of software.

I was a reasonably satisfied user of SGPro, although it wasn’t the most stable package out there. Their revised pricing model pushed me to try NINA and I wouldn’t  go back to SGPro now.

Another NINA convert after moving from SGP a few years ago.  SGP had its time but it is too crash prone and NINA has left it miles behind with its plugin architecture.  A shame for SGP and I feel a bit sorry for the two guys who develop it because they did try their best.  However, they will never be able to compete with hundreds of contributors (myself included) who contribute to NINA's open architecture and make it free.
