This is another IR osc image of Saturn in much calmer conditions. I decided to up the sampling rate to 0.12pp to try and capture the cassini ring all the way around which is definetly being adventurous this early in the season. But the sensitivity of the Asi462c in IR and with decent seeing I'd like to think it as payed off?

C11  x2 barlow Asi462c

Baader luminance & IR685 filter

A great early image martyn, nice & sharp with good cassini detail showing around the globe well done indeed!

Hi Simon hope it wont be long before you can get to image the planets. I know you have a restricted view at the moment.

Wow that really has come out a lot better. What a great result. Especially this early. Excellent Martyn

Forgot to ask did you use a ADC ?

Hi Neil thanks for the kind comment. It's my fault I did forget to add that I did use a Zwo Adc and very impressed with it too I thought it might be a bit of a learning curve but watched a couple of tutorials on line which helped alot. The planets are getting closer everyday now and with good seeing It just might be that perfect time to try the big Orion.

Thanks for the kind comments and likes everyone.
