Hi everybody.

 

Mrs S and I are just about to move to the Scottish highlands, to a remote area just north of the Cairngorms , so I am hoping for really dark skies.
 

As a youngster I was very interested in astronomy and our new smallholding gives me the perfect opportunity to get back in to it. I am completely out of touch with the type of kit I might need to make casual sky viewing enjoyable.

I am hoping for advice and tips from the group here, I am told you are all a friendly bunch.
