Jupiter and Saturn from 17.07.21

Apart from the ridiculous early alarm, the couple of mornings i got up to finally image these two were beautiful, so peaceful!!!

Saturn is still hugging the conifers, but Jupiter arounds 6 degrees higher is so much better.

Pretty pleased with Jupiter, Saturn a little noisy to be honest.

The usual set up C9.25,asi224mc. Stacked 20% of 25000 frames captured.

Very Nice Pete lovely detail coming through on Jupiter. You should be pleased seems like everyone had good seeing. I set up late after shooting the moon clouds came over. When they passed the planet went behind my neighbour's  roof lol. Anyway what  a stunner.

Pete your Jupiter image as some very fine intricate detail on show I think it is stunning.  The Saturn Image aint half bad either on a side note dont you have a Asi290mm just being nosey😁

Yes i do, my window for Saturn is still quite small due to local obstructions. So i didnt get time to use it. I use to do mostly RGB images a few years back, but i seem to have lost the habit of it  and the OSC is so much quicker.
