I take it thats made up from a

1. normal totality pic

2. overexposed totality pic (to show earthshine)

3. 2nd contact pic (or just before)

4. 3rd contact pic (or just after)

Right?

Hi Ant,

It's made up from a 1/350s to show the inner corona (all images were at ISO800 by the way), a 1/30s to show the outer corona, a 1/20s to start to show Earthshine and a 1/3s to boost the Earthshine detail. Of course there's a lot of Photoshop work in there as well to blend them all together.

Yes we've been joking about it in UKAI (I'm PBL33 there). Just as I went to post my first version, Eddie Guscott put his out. Then we were both followed by Nick King (the link you supplied). It's getting crowded
