Hi , in the event of a clear sky on the 10th June for the partial eclipse, i decided to make a simple solar filter for my Star71mm. I orderd the solar film from FLO on mid Monday  and it arrived on Wednesday morning [ thanks FLO ] .After a couple of hours i had the filter made, so decided to try it out as the sky had plenty of sunshine and clear spells in it. This is the result from my 1st session on the afternoon of the 19th using the filter. Stacked and tweeked in Reg6 and Photoshop.    Thanks for looking.

Hi Callisto, sorry for the late reply. I ordered the BAARDER AstroSolar Safety Film 5.0 from FLO.  Hope this helps.

Thank you very much Pete, i will be doing  more Solar work this year as i have just made another filter for my other rig. [ my ODK12 this time] not tried it yet though.

I am hoping to sttart doing some during Teabreaks/dinnertimes at work, now the activity is increasing.
