APT forum redirecting to "all things democrat"

Hi.

Is this a thing? I can't access the APT forum and it just redirects me to "all things democrat" with a 404 Error message

Works fine for me too.

Have you tried clearing your cache and history then try again ?

Your AV software should be able to remove it. If not, Malwarebytes does a good job.

Firefox on laptop and chrome on mobile. Both do the same thing

Do you use your network access point (wifi or direct ethernet) for network services i.e. IP address, gateway routing, DNS etc. ? if so, it may have been compromised, you could try re-booting it...

on firefox

Click the menu icon, then click on “Help”

Click “Troubleshooting Information”.

Click on “Refresh Firefox” or click on restart firefox with addons disabled

very strange indeed, working ok for me as well

A bit of a long shot but worth a try is to force your browser to update the page from the source server (APT original) and thus by-pass any proxy servers(copies) in the path, like maybe at your ISP.

I think it is ctrl-f5 (function key 5) in Firefox. You should see the refresh page symbol do its wiggle.   If it isnt that combo, try shift-f5.

Has worked for me in the past.

EDIT just done a google and "Ctrl, Shift and the 'R' key" is another method on Firefox.

On your mobile try using 4g not WiFi , if your in virgin you can allow a website in the parental control settings page in case your blocked .
