Solar Prominence 22nd April (Updated)

Cracking Solar Prominence this morning with a nice filament pointing the way. 

Captured with the 120mm scope, Quark and ASI174MM camera.

A bit closer and pushed a bit more for the Prom (Updated).

New - AR2817 as it was disappearing over the limb.

I usually stop down the 120 to 100mm but this was early enough that the seeing was reasonably stable (was also using a 2" Baader UV/IR cut filter).

Cheers Dave,

It Does have a bonfire look about it doesn't it.

I have enough frames spread over an hour to try an animation (assuming there is any movement in the prom).
