Need help with a finder scope

Hello Ladies & Gentleman,

I would in need of require your assistance for my current tube that I have got. 

I currently have a Celestron Starlight XLT tube and I am looking for a new Finderscope (This one did not come with as I bought it of one of my Uni friends). I am not fussed into the red dot sites and I would like someone similar to the EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC ES 8x50. 

Any questions by all means ask :)

The ES finder is way overpriced. The Celestron RACI finder is quite popular if you want an illuminated finder. Most replace the supplied bracket with a regular Synta type.

Or you could go for a regular non-illuminated finder. Just need to buy the right finder shoe.

Would the Celestron RACI fit on that tube?

The Celestron RACI fits the standard Celestron SCT 9x50 mounting but cheaper just to replace the bracket it comes with with another one.

I use this bracket on a few of my scopes. Works well and is low profile.

I'm assuming it just the case of removing the screws and adding the new bracket in?

Yes just take the screws out and fit them to the new finder shoe.

I think the stock screws should fit if they are long enough but easy to get new screws cheap on eBay if needs be.
