Far too full moon!

This is a 20 panel mosaic with an asi178mm / 80ed + 2.5x barlow, green filter.

It was done as a test to see if the scope could stand the magnification...what do you think?

Looks like the 'scope coped admirably.  Lovely ray detail in your image.

Gobsmacking! when i opened it in full size it was like a smack in the face on my fairly large screen. This is the larges image of the moon i have had the pleasure of scrolling through, just for kicks i measured the size of the image and 

figured if i wanted to see the entire image i would need a print 5.5 ft x 5x5 ft.

I think the exposures where 5ms, with the gain pushed a little to give 60 - 70% histogram. 500 frames per stack and 50% stacked as it seemed very stable
