Comet Neowise

Morning all!
Any suggestions on snapping Comet Neowise with a smart phone?

I ended up with a small green fuzz ball!

I am using a phone mount , so it is stable.

Just wondering about magnification and phone settings.

It may help if you shared the model of your phone, I watched a fellow take a jaw dropping shot of NEOWISE with a Huawei P30 I believe. It’s simply amazing what some phones can do these days.

Mine is a mere P9! The Mrs has a P10 though and the children have some iPhone iterations that to me cost silly money and aren't even the latest (9s and 10s, apparently  )!

This is my PocoF1 capture using Gcam port@2x SuperRes. Note that the comet is under Ursa Major constellation.

Take a few quick burst shots and stack them in a paint program or you can stack the single image ontop of itself multiple times and get a slightly better result.

I don't think that will make any difference!
I am going to try a different phone.

This is with a iPhone 11, normal camera settings but auto dark mode which is 3 seconds exposure. Then edited in free Lightroom app. It’s at such a weird angle cos I was trying to explain to someone where the comet was in relation to Ursa Major.
