I was hoping the last little batch of spots was the beginning of the end of the minimum. Looks like we are still deep in the minimum, 76% blank so far this year!

Going by the Space Weather site, the sunspots aren’t expected to make a decent return until next year.

Looks to be a little bit of activity coming around the limb today. I missed the early sun so haven’t managed a look. Anyone else out?

At 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock there are disturbances near the eastern limb with pale patches.

Thanks Rusted. Conditions not great here but have just seen both those bright patches of faculae, looking promising. I wonder if there is any activity in Ha around them? Not worth getting the PST mod out unfortunately.

Now two clear areas of activity coming around the limb in ha. One is close to a massive, though massively faint, prom lifting off. Easier to see if you zoom in.
