would you mind sharing your views on the skywatcher 8" flexi dobsonian telescope, i will warn you im a beginner :withstupid:

Excellent choice ! I have the 12" which is a bit bigger and more cumbersome but for portability and easy set up the 8" must be great for a beginner. from what i have read it keeps its collimation better and longer than the larger Flextubes and if mine is anything to go by you will have great views every time you get out there.

Great choice for your first telescope.

Excellent scope....Holds it collimation well too, which is a consideration with a flexi tube or truss type Dob..
