I was looking at buying these to get the right backfocus for my ED80 reducer, but the reviews on FLO's site aren't exactly encouraging.  Has anyone bought them recently?  Happy with them?  Not?

Not seen the reviews but they're very tight on a m42 thread and apparently they can crush, I've not noticed that with mine thou..

Yes much too tight!

I tried making them bigger by sanding but gave up, ended up forcing the thin ones on and cutting the rest... far from ideal!

Maybe use them to get the correct spacing then invest in metal rings.

I bought some of these ten years ago and had the devil’s job fitting them - tight as $&$&*

I raised this with Baader and they said t threads can vary???!!!

In the end I cut across the spacers to allow them to be fitted......

I’m still using them......

One would have thought then that the solution would be for Baader to make them sufficiently large to cope with the likely variation in thread sizes.

Not that I really believe them.  Once you set the thread diameter and pitch there's not a huge amount of room for variation before your threads become useless due to not fitting together with anyone else's.
