Does anyone know of an IR intervelometer for the EOS M.

Dont think any exist although the "DSLR remote" app with an IR dongle might work.

One thing to bear in mind with Canon M cameras is that controlling the camera through apps such as Backyard EOS may be impossible. I believe Canon crippled these cameras in terms of their API support meaning they can't be remote controlled via a PC. Not sure if they changed this with latest versions or not but worth being aware of.

Check to see if they work with Android programme DSLR Controller as that is a great app and connects using the camera USB lead and a OTG cable.

Yeah, can't control it through APT either.
