M1 from Saturday evening

I took this with the 10" f/6.3 newt, guided with the 70mm Bresser frac piggy-backed to it.

40 x 180 second subs + darks with the Canon 400D, it needs longer subs I think - one to re-visit

Billy - the guiding was much harder to get going with the 10" newt, there was the occasional gust of wind that affected the guiding and I was tinkering with the settings all the time trying to get it better. I think the balance must have been slightly out too - all in all I learnt that it's much harder to autoguide with a big lump of a 'scope

Hi Sam - it's just a plain 400D, I would like a modded one in the future but will probably look for a cheap 350D body to do myself.
