Just a Quickie!

Hi Folks,

After my Heart and Soul imaging session, I had enough time to get a quick grab of M45.

Details: Borg 77EDII with 0.85x DGL reducer, Art11000 Camera, Astronomik LRGB filters - 10x300s for Lum, 2x120s for R, 5x120s for G, 7x120s for B. for some reason I only managed to get 2 subs for the Red.

Am hoping to go back to this and do a proper job before the winters out!

I am thinking about these scopes when I finally dip my toe into the astrophotography side of this hobby.

Bleddy Hell!!... I actually sat with my mouth open. Thats the best image of M45 I've ever seen in the private market. Get that into S@N mag!.

Thats a super widefield of the Pleiades showing up the dimmer outer regions and the dark contrasting areas near the centre and throughout.

A real corker Eddie. Difficult to see where any improvement could be made, but I'm sure you have something in mind.
