As it happens I was observing the Moon for the last 30 minutes of the session last night and the sky was very stable, allowing high powers. Through my bino and 12" Dob it was as awesome as always.

There must have been some "magic" in the moon last night.  We came outside for a before bedtime cig, and my wife spent twenty minutes at the scope looking and commenting on it.  Almost like she'd never seen it before. LOL
