Skysafari 6 Pro Android version arrived 50% off

Just got an email through, so I know a few have been waiting for the Android version of version 6 to land, so grab it whilst you can for 50% off.

If you've bought v5 recently, it's worth asking if it's possible to get an update. I think their window is on recent purchases is 1 month but Bill was generous ?

I've got the v5 'plus' version which was fine for me, and a bit cheaper, so I'll hang on for v6 of that if there's no reduction...

Had the notification from SkySafari 5 last night. The message went off before I saw it properly, but assuming I glanced correctly it does say 50% off, and (I think) offer ends on 10/7/18 (US date?)

For the Pro version, at the moment itunes has it for £20, and Google Play has its for £18.50 as adyj1 says. Is this the standard pricing and not reduced ?

It is reduced! I paid the same price for 5Pro, and I bought that at discount.

Not sure it'll be worth upgrading for my limited needs. Apart from which it seems to have Cloud options and I have no need for such interconnectivity. YVMV.

I don't know what deal I got. I just paid the £18:50 and downloaded. I'm sure I paid more than that for v5 Pro so it's a good deal to me. I might even use some of the new features!

As I've mentioned before it's my goto (see what I did there?  ) astronomy software and is excellent value for money.

I bought the v6 pro version this evening but the programme would not respond to me pressing any icons and so I uninstalled for a refund as you only have 2 hours to do so. I filed some feedback. I'll stick with v5 for now but anytime I'm convinced v6 will work I'll be happy to but it. v5 is brilliant but I don't doubt v6 is better.

I've given this another go and it now works. I've also bought an in app extra interactive HR diagram which looks really interesting. It plots the HR positions for the stars in the field of view and highlights the one you have selected. I can see it only plots the brighter stars so when I tried plotting the stars in m67 it didn't show much but here's screenshots of m45 highlighting Alcyone and of the Orion area highlighting Betelgeuse, you can see what it does...

Purchased yesterday. Installed numerous times with nothing to show for effort. Samsung S2, plenty of storage. No messages, no nothing. Will send complaint to authors.
