A new month, a new AR, a new hope? 01/09/18

It looks like a new AR is coming round, although it might be dying or just forming, lets keep fingers crossed for the latter.

Finally the same area in Hydrogen Alpha.  Shows a similar structure to Calcium-K, but still not sure if it is growing or dying.

Nice images Robin. I’m guessing this was the same area where I saw a patch or two of faculae. The only activity I could see in white light, couldn’t even see any tiny pores in it so it looked pretty unremarkable.
