John
I was in N. Yorkshire yesterday evening. No moon visible despite a stunningly hot, dry week previously. What we did see were some spectacular lightning flashes (forked and sheet) and some very dark and threatening clouds. Fortunately I was able to hide here: And console myself with a couple of pints of this: Cheers !!!

Peter Drew
What a difference a day makes!. Tonight has been perfectly clear instead of the previous wall to wall cloud. We actually had a re-run of the eclipse night, the Moon rose blood red due to murk in the atmosphere, very similar to the eclipse photos, we even had a great high pass of the ISS for good measure. The visitors were happy bunnies. ?
trynda1701
Congratulations to all who saw the eclipse. Typically, last night, despite rain in the evening, got a great view of the just past Full Moon rising over the houses to the South East after midnight!
