Jupiter backend - 1st May 2018

Hi all,

This is a image of Jupiter I imaged on 1st May 2018.

I called this the back end, as in the other side from the GRS.

Taken with my 8SE at f33 with the Skyris 618C CCD.

Wonderful image. Well done! Gives me hope that with good seeing etc my C8 could hopefully deliver similar results with my ASI 120mc perhaps!

It will, its down to the quality of the atmosphere.

Great Caesar's Ghost, that's a brill image! Seeing the "backend" brings more attention to the cloud bands. And what nice bands they are! Great resolution and color.
