Best DSLR for beginners to use for Astrophotography?

M42 28mm lenses are cheap enough. Look for Zenith or Praktika.

For wide field examples check out imaging challenge number 8.

Free software like DSS can be used for star scapes or Sequator where foreground has been included.

I paid about £20 for my Ashai Super Takumar 55mm f2 lens plus about £6 for a m42 to EOS adapter.

Used a home made tracking mount there is a link in my signature.

I could just as easy have used my kit lens at 40mm rather than the 40mm pancake lens.
