Where are you putting all this stuff (files / images)?

It may seem a trite / factuous question, but it seems of
particular relevance to SOLAR imagers... The (potential)
volume of Data and Finished Images is much greater? :)

Are you keeping them all somewhere? Do you secretly
GLOAT over them later? lol. But seriously, it would be a
shame to dispose of some of these FINE images too! ;)

Flat Files on Hard Disk? Image Viewers? A Website...
A separate BLOG for Solar stuff seems a more viable
possibility to me. Especially if you do other stuff too? :evil4:

I wish you a peaceful and SAFE day in these Winds...

"Good thinking, Bataman" wo/men? :p I'm becoming reasonably confident with
my stackings, so I delete .AVI files now. I retain (16-bit) .TIF's for the moment.
I think I can reasonably exist on these generic Terabyte USB3 disks for now. ;)

I do retain some .AVI's that seem to demonstrate something "important" --- Or
perhaps reflect exceptional seeing? Thanks for thoughts! All quite reassuring. :)

I put all my finished images onto Astrobin/ my own website/ Forums and sometimes Flicker.

I keep copies of the tiff & PNG files and I do keep the Fits/Raw files unless the images are not much cop in case I want to go back and re-process.  I have a back up drive.  I don't tend to keep AVIs for long once I have processed them as they seem to be huge.
