Daylight Venus

Just really testing my piers alignment.

Thought i try and locate Venus during the day.

Not a bad effort finding without GOTO.

Anyway this is a POOR image for the following reasons

It was very warm (yes iknow unbelivable) Venus is

pooley placed both in sky and in its orbit and the altitude was terrible (-3 DEC)

Shot at f30 with an 8" SCT and a DMK21 in infra red 742nm.

Best 600 frames of 3000.

Though i would share it anyway as us planet guys are a bit

short on well placed targets.

There are not many daylight images of Venus about,

anyway, it's very good as far as I can tell. Venus never smiles back whenever she is imaged.

The phase is quite obvious. Also you did a good job just finding it.
