Here is my selection of shots of the Sun today. Great to see so much activity! All taken with a Lunt LS50THa and ZWO ASI120MC-S. The close up was taken with the addition of a Televue 2.5x Powermate. Clear skies and an active Sun to you all!

I have been trying for weeks now to take some pics but despite doing everything suggested on another forum I seem to be getting nowhere below is a screen shot taken today Sept 2 nd 2017. I am using a Lunt 50ha it's a DMK 21 camera and ICCapture software. Any thoughts or ideas please, I'm going stir crazy and going in circles but getting no where. Should I bite the bullet and get a ZWO 120.

Open a separate thread explaining what you are doing and settings you are using. Looking at that screen shot your exposure looks to long.

Thanks guys, today (Sunday 3rd Sept) it is very overcast so I tried with my Explore Scientific 80ed apo, just pointing at a tree in the distance, I played around with all the settings and I managed to see my very first image on the laptop. This is so exciting for me, just got to do the same for the Sun.
