Hi,

Just like to say hello from Lancashire. This is my first post here,but I have been lurking for quite some time.

I have been 'into' Astronomy since 58, that's 1958,it's a fascinating hobby (way of life). I hope to receive help here and give help where I can.

Up late tonight waiting for the sky to clear :clouds2: not a chance.

I'm pleased you agree that Astronomy is a way of life :D

I think you are one of many from Lancashire. My Mrs and I love to visit Fleetwood on a regular basis. It's just nice there.

Ron, have you heard the bad news about the pier there? I remember in my childhood (long time ago) running along it full of excitement.

Yes I followed the story on the news reports. Great shame, although it was not in use

and hasn't been for years I believe. Not sure they know the cause yet, but arson is not ruled out.
