The Solar Chromosphere (Ca-K) - 06th August 2017

Didn't think I was going to be able to do this, trying to shoot mosaics when there is cirrus cloud floating about is usually a recipe for nothing but frustration! A little patience paid off today though as a gap appeared and I was able to get 6x1000 frames for the FD before the cirrus came back. The close-up of the AR was shot through the murk so probably a bit soft.

Lovely capture, and apologies for the solar newbie and slihhtly off topic question, but where do you find the graphic you have between your two discs showing the correct orientation and rotation?
