AR2665 "They think it's all over"

Well the WL enthusiasts may think so as the spot has gone over the edge, but the active region round the spot is still putting on a fine show in Ha. We are now seeing the AR in side elevation rather than plan. The region keeps spitting out fast moving surge spikes, one of which has escaped and is hovering like a needle way above the limb. There is also a large associated prominence area which visually suggests that it might be rotating like a tornado, hope someone manages an animation which might confirm this. Seeing easily standing 150x, can't see me getting much else done today!

Spotted the action both in Ca-K and H-alpha. Well worth a look
