Psychedelic sunspot with iPhone

Got a quick few shots of the rather psychedelic looking sunspot on show today, so enhanced the best one from my iPhone 7+ which came out pretty well methinks. Not a patch on other members offerings I know, but shows what can be done with a phone camera still.

Personally, I have long thought the day will come when phone camera's would surpass DSLR's.

It's not here yet, but closing fast. And almost everybody has a cell phone these days.

Shucks, I have a holder to mount my cell phone to a telescope eyepiece. And another to tripod mount my cell phone. The latter I was thinking of using for the upcoming Solar eclipse here.

But I think phone camera's are fast rising.
