Jupiter 18th June , reasonably good seeing

There was reasonably good seeing last night for this image of Jupiter. The previous night the seeing was poor, though that may have been because my neighbour's barbeque was pumping out a lot of hot air turbulence that was drifting my way.  Such is life.

There is no cure, I saw a 12" newt for sale the other week. I spent most of the day I wouldn't benefit from the extra 2 1/2 inches!

Nice looking disc despite the pretty poor conditions of late. It feels like the season for Jupiter is probably over for me.
