Feather touch C8 edge microfocuser

Firstly, i must say how much i love mine... It's so much better than the stock focuser, it's made and finished beautifully.

I've studied the install info and video carefully and am sure it's fitted correctly, it loses about 7 mm of backward focus compared to stock.

I only noticed this when i couldn't get my asi224 on a televue 2 x Barlow to focus without pulling the Barlow out of scope a bit .

Has anyone else noticed this ?

Just remembered that I need an extension when imaging ... Annoying me a bit so googled it and found my own comment from last year ?

Has no-one else noticed this or have I fitted mine incorrectly ?

I would be sending the FT focuser people an e-mail and ask them about this.
